Jasmine Hall

Born in Florida to a family of performers, Jasmine began her experience as a taiko player when she began taking classes at Odaiko New England in 2006, studying with then artistic director, Mark H. Rooney. Jasmine went on to become a member in 2009. She has continued her studies with many great taiko artists including, Tiffany Tamaribuchi, Kenny Endo, Kris Bergstrom, Shoji Kamada, Yuta Kato, and Kaoru Watanabe. Jasmine works full time as a college professor in Western Massachusetts and often incorporates information about the history of taiko into her teaching.
